We are supporting their search for an experienced Workshop Technician to join their team and play a key role in the rebuild, repair and maintenance of a range of mechanical components including the rebuild and repair of transmissions, gearboxes and axles. Key Duties: Dismantle, inspect and reassemble transmissions, axles and final drive assemblies in accordance with pre-determined work instructions and specifications. Use inspection measuring and test equipment to determine component conformity and ensure product quality. Work on own initiative and as part of a team to solve work related technical problems. Use IT equipment to extract and record technical and logistical information including the creation of inspection reports and identification of required parts. Accountable for the correct and safe usage of tooling and equipment. Help promote the behaviors identified within the Companies culture.
