Workshop Team Leader - Prep and PaintYolk Recruitment are supporting the recruitment of a Prep and Paint Team Leader to manage preparation, painting, and post-paint assembly within a busy manufacturing environment. This role will take responsibility for production flow, quality, safety, and team leadership across the paint and prep areas.You''ll play a key role in ensuring painted units are delivered right first time, supporting downstream assembly while maintaining high quality and safety standards. This role suits an experienced leader from a paint, prep, or finishing background.Key responsibilities:Lead and manage the prep and paint team to meet daily production targets.Plan and prioritise prep and paint activities to maximise throughput and minimise delays.Run daily start-of-shift briefings covering safety, quality, and production plans.Ensure all pre- and post-paint quality checks are completed and recorded.Manage paint and consumable stock levels, escalating shortages early.Coordinate paint schedules with production requirements to ensure parts are available on time.Maintain paint booths, equipment, and stores to required standards.Take ownership of factory standards including housekeeping, 5S, and material storage.Coach and develop your team, supporting training and cross-skilling.Drive continuous improvement by reducing rework and improving paint quality.Ensure full compliance with Health and Safety and environmental procedures.Work closely with other team leaders to ..... full job details .....
