Workshop Supervisor (HGV Technician)

Location: Beenham Hours: Monday Friday, 7:00am 4:30pm, plus alternate Saturdays 7:00am 11:30am Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking to take the next step in your career? We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Workshop Supervisor / Senior HGV Technician to join a busy maintenance workshop in Beenham. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role while providing technical guidance and leadership to a team of technicians and apprentices. The Role Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will help oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring vehicles are maintained safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: Supervising and supporting HGV Technicians and Apprentices. Allocating work and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on time. Carrying out hands-on servicing, repairs and maintenance of HGVs. Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults. Managing service sheets, job cards and outstanding defects. Assisting with VOR (Vehicle Off Road) reporting and maintenance planning. Supporting the accurate use of the fleet maintenance system.
