This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in metal fabrication and proven supervisory experience.As Workshop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing workloads, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining a safe, efficient, and motivated working environment. Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise a team of fabricators, welders, and apprenticesCoordinate daily workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure project deadlines are metMaintain high standards of quality control and health and safety complianceMonitor production efficiency and implement improvements where necessaryConduct regular toolbox talks and safety briefingsLiaise with production managers, design teams, and clients where requiredTrain and mentor workshop staff and apprenticesManage stock levels of materials and consumablesSkills and Experience RequiredProven experience in a similar supervisory role within a fabrication or engineering workshopStrong knowledge of fabrication techniques, welding (MIG/TIG), and reading technical drawingsExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to problem-solve and make decisions under pressureCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementForklift ..... full job details .....
