Industrial Mechanical Supervisor (Workshop-Based)Salary - upto 40,000An established engineering organisation is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to support and oversee workshop operations within a busy industrial repair environment.This position focuses on leading a team responsible for the inspection, overhaul, and repair of a wide range of rotating and mechanical equipment.Role Overview: You will supervise day-to-day workshop activity, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role involves both hands-on technical involvement and coordination of team workload.Key Duties:Lead and coordinate a team of workshop techniciansAllocate tasks and monitor progress of ongoing workReview and organise job documentation and reportsProvide technical guidance and support to team membersCarry out inspection, fault diagnosis, and repair of mechanical equipmentEnsure work is completed within agreed timeframesMaintain quality standards and adherence to safety proceduresAssist with complex rebuilds and technical problem-solving when requiredEquipment and Work Scope:Industrial motors (single and three-phase)Gearboxes and drive systemsPumps and fluid handling equipmentFans, blowers, and other rotating machineryRequirements:Strong background in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineeringPrevious experience in a workshop or repair environmentProven ability to supervise or lead a teamGood fault-finding and diagnostic skillsAbility to read and interpret technical ..... full job details .....
