Workshop Supervisor - Late ShiftLocation: FleetSalary: £27.00 per hourOur client who specialise in waste management, recycling and construction are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to oversee the late shift operation, leading a team of technicians and fitters whilst ensuring maintenance, servicing, and repairs are completed safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise workshop technicians and fitters during the late shift operationEnsure servicing and repairs are completed safely and in line with manufacturer standardsPromote safe working practices and ensure compliance with risk assessments and PPE requirementsAssist with vehicle fault diagnosis and roadside repairs where requiredWork closely with the transport team to maximise vehicle availabilityEnsure vehicles are prepared for MOT testing and workshop documentation is completed accuratelyOversee completion of service inspection sheets, job cards, and workshop recordsSupport repairs and maintenance of plant machinery where requiredAssist with the development of apprentices and trainee techniciansEnsure workshop facilities, equipment, and tools are maintained to a high standardRequirementsPrevious experience within a commercial vehicle, fleet, plant, or workshop environmentStrong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair processesUnderstanding of Health and Safety, DVSA, and VOSA requirementsPrevious supervisory or team leadership experienceExperience working on Volvo trucks would be advantageousLevel 3 ..... full job details .....
