Workshop Operative

This hire is driven by exciting business growth plans.In this role, you''ll be at the heart of the production process, assembling, constructing, and finishing specialist products using both hand and power tools. You''ll also carry out precision soldering and intricate wiring, working accurately from engineering drawings and schematics. This is a hands-on position where attention to detail, quality, and teamwork are key to success.Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting with or independently completing the assembly and fabrication of bespoke productsReading and interpreting engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematicsCarrying out soldering and detailed wiring of components to required specificationsUsing hand and power tools to assemble sub-components and full unitsWorking to job schedules and meeting production deadlinesMaintaining high quality standards and reporting any issues or improvement ideasSupporting colleagues and working collaboratively across departmentsFollowing Health and Safety procedures and using the correct PPE at all timesWhat We''re Looking ForA practical individual with a strong engineering or technical mindsetAbility to read and work from engineering drawings and technical instructionsPrevious experience with soldering and intricate wiring (desirable)Willingness to work ..... full job details .....
