Workshop Operative - Pumping SystemsLocation: Hull Salary: 13.50 - 15.50 per hour Hours: Monday-Friday, 07:30-16:30 (07:00 Monday start) Job Type: PermanentWe are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join our client''s Operations team.This is a hands-on role building and testing complete pumping stations, working with GRP tanks, ductile iron/uPVC pipework, valves, pumps, booster sets, control panels and PLCs.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and test pumping stations and pump assemblies.Install pipework, valves and control panels.Work from mechanical and electrical drawings.Wire control panels and programme PLCs.Carry out pressure testing and quality checks.Receive and prepare equipment and materials.Complete job sheets and maintain a safe, organised workshop.About YouPrevious workshop/mechanical/electrical engineering experience.Able to read technical drawings.Experience with pumps, pipework or control panels.PLC experience desirable.Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.Must driveReliable, practical and able to work independently.Benefits20 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing to 25 days.Paid birthday leave.Free lunch daily.Company pension.Free onsite parking.Retail discounts.Employee Assistance Programme.Apply today with your CV for immediate consideration. ..... full job details .....
