Key Responsibilities Prepare, measure, mark and cut steel components using workshop equipment. Support welders by preparing materials and components. Operate hand and power tools, machinery and fabrication equipment safely. Carry out component assembly, finishing, painting and protective coating tasks. Handle and move materials using appropriate lifting equipment. Inspect components and finished products for quality and accuracy. Complete production and quality records accurately.
