Workshop Operative

Our well-established client based in Chatteris, is looking for an additional workshop operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Main Duties:

• Reading and interpreting basic manufacturing drawings
• Assisting with folding flashings using a press brake
• Cutting materials using a guillotine prior to folding
• Supporting the fabrication of insulated gutters

Skills & Experience:

• High reliability and strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of manual handling in a fast-paced environment
• Basic maths skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to learn and be trained in multiple tasks

Hours & Pay

Monday to Friday

07:00 until 16:30

(OT Available at an enhanced rate)

£29,000 - £32,000
