Workshop Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Assistant to join our clients busy manufacturing workshop in Haddenham, on a temporary to permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated, hands-on, and eager to learn all aspects of the workshop environment.

The successful candidate will support the smooth running of daily operations and receive training across a variety of production processes, with genuine opportunities for progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with glass cutting processes
• Preparing products ready for consumer
• Sealing and finishing glass units
• Accepting and checking deliveries
• Supporting general workshop operations
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Following Health & Safety procedures at all times

About You

• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Able to follow instructions and work safely
• Strong communication skills
• Eager to learn new skills and support the wider team
• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience is beneficial but not essential
• Forklift experience or a valid Forklift Licence would be advantageous
