Duties:-

• The Workshop Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a high-volume automotive workshop
• Allocate work efficiently to a team of skilled technicians and mechanics
• Maximise productivity through effective scheduling and workflow management-
• Monitor job times to enhance workshop efficiency and profitability
• Maintain high standards of repair quality and workmanship
• Lead, motivate, and develop workshop staf
• Manage stock control, reduce waste, and control costs effectively
• Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Liaise with office staff to ensure smooth workshop operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions

Requirements:-

• Proven experience as a Workshop Manager or Supervisor, within the motor trade
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
• Demonstrable track record of managing and motivating a team effectively in the role of Workshop Manager
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Proactive attitude with a solutions-focused approach
• Ability to work flexibly across different shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights)
