This is a hands-on role, combining engine build work with team leadership, scheduling, and continuous improvement.What you''ll doOwn delivery of engine rebuilds and refreshes to schedule and quality targetsBe hands-on with engine builds when requiredSet and manage the workshop plan, resources, and prioritiesLead engine failure analysis and non-conformance actionsManage dyno operations, ECU/data analysis, and technical supportDrive department efficiency, productivity, and HandS standardsLead, develop, and performance-manage the engine teamCreate and maintain SOPs, quality standards, and training plansWork closely with RandD, production, quality, and operationsWhat we''re looking forHands-on experience building, rebuilding, and tuning automotive enginesProven workshop leadership or management experience in a main dealership or similar environmentStrong diagnostic skills, including data analysisConfident communicator with a practical, delivery-focused mindsetComfortable using ERP systems and MS OfficeThis role suits someone who enjoys leading from the front, takes ownership of standards and results, and wants real influence over how a high-performance engine workshop runs.
