Workshop Manager

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Workshop Manager with a leading national/international transportation company. As a Workshop Manager, you ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring that all maintenance, repairs, and inspections of HGVs and other vehicles are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You ll lead a team of technicians, manage workflow and scheduling, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement in processes and service delivery. Responsibilities and day to day duties As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for: Lead and manage a team of technicians, ensuring high performance and motivation Oversee all HGV maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs Ensure compliance with DVSA and health and safety regulations Schedule workloads and manage priorities effectively Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers/customers Maintain workshop standards and ensure equipment is properly maintained Monitor performance, KPIs, and workshop efficiency Skills and experience required. Proven experience in a similar role within a commercial vehicle or HGV workshop Strong technical background with relevant HGV qualifications Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop a team Strong understanding of compliance, health and safety, and DVSA regulations Benefits Salary up to 55k DOE Access to ..... full job details .....
