Workshop Manager Bespoke Furniture and Joinery Location: Whitby, North Yorkshire We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a skilled team producing high-end bespoke furniture and cabinetry. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in cabinet making or fine furniture who can combine technical expertise with leadership, organisation and a commitment to exceptional quality. Key Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the workshop, ensuring production targets and deadlines are met. Lead, manage and support a team of skilled cabinet makers and joiners. Maintain exceptional standards of craftsmanship, quality control and attention to detail. Plan workloads, allocate resources and ensure efficient use of materials and machinery. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacture. Identify opportunities to improve workshop processes, productivity and efficiency. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed throughout the workshop. Work closely with design, CNC and installation teams to ensure projects run smoothly from manufacture through to completion. Skills and Requirements Proven experience in a Workshop Manager, Workshop Supervisor or senior cabinet-making position. Strong technical knowledge of bespoke furniture manufacturing, cabinetry and joinery. A background as a bench joiner, cabinet maker or furniture maker is essential.
