Workshop Manager Malton, North Yorkshire 45,000 - 50,000Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm Are you a hands-on Workshop Manager who prefers being on the shop floor rather than behind a desk?Castle Employment Group are working in partnership with a growing Yorkshire manufacturer to recruit a Workshop Manager who leads from the front. This is an opportunity to step into a business that is scaling, investing and building momentum, where your impact will be seen every day on the shop floor.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the build, supporting their team and keeping production moving safely, efficiently and on plan. The Role This is a visible, hands-on leadership position where you will take ownership of day-to-day workshop performance, ensuring production runs smoothly across multiple areas.You will:Lead the workshop across welding, painting, assembly and dispatchBe a consistent presence on the shop floor, supporting and guiding the teamGet involved in assembly and build processes to understand products and workflowsDeliver the production plan safely, on time and to required quality standardsIdentify and resolve issues around materials, sequencing and capacityCarry out final checks on completed machinesRun daily huddles and toolbox talks to drive performance and accountabilityManage team standards, output and developmentWork closely with Planning and Purchasing to maintain flowSupport continuous improvement across processes and workflowWhat We Are Looking ..... full job details .....
