Workshop Engineer Materials HandlingLocation: Bury St Edmunds Salary: £30,(Apply online only) £38,(Apply online only) DOE + Overtime + Benefits Hours: Full-Time (40 hours per week, Monday Friday)About the RoleWe are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Workshop Engineer to join a well-established and growing material handling business.In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of materials handling equipment and plant machinery within a busy workshop environment. You will work as part of a skilled engineering team and report directly to the Workshop Manager.This is a hands-on workshop-based role offering stability, technical variety, and opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive, family-oriented business.Key Responsibilities Service, maintain, and repair materials handling and powered access equipmentDiagnose faults and carry out mechanical and electrical repairsReplace or repair faulty components as requiredPrepare equipment for customer delivery and inspectionsComplete planned maintenance and workshop repair tasks efficientlyWork closely with the Workshop Manager and Service Team to prioritise and complete workloadsEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with Health and Safety regulationsComplete relevant job documentation and adhere to company proceduresSupport continuous improvement and maintain a clean, safe workshop environmentContinuously develop your technical skills through training and ..... full job details .....
