Workshop EngineerBelfast £35,000 £45,000 + Overtime + BenefitsThe BusinessOur client is a well-established plant hire and machinery specialist in Northern Ireland, supporting customers across construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors.They operate a modern fleet of heavy plant, powered access, and general hire equipment, with a strong reputation for reliability and quality service.The RoleAs a Workshop Engineer, you ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of plant equipment from the depot.This role suits someone who prefers a structured environment, working on a variety of kit while supporting the wider engineering team.Key Responsibilities: Service, maintenance, and repair of heavy plant and powered access equipmentCarry out pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and routine servicingDiagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systemsPrepare equipment for hire and ensure it meets company standardsWork closely with the parts and service team to ensure efficient turnaroundMaintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop The Candidate Experience working on heavy plant, powered access, or similar machineryStrong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills (electrical knowledge beneficial)Workshop or depot-based experience preferredNVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable)Team player with a proactive attitudeGood attention to detail and pride in work What s on Offer Competitive basic salary with overtime ..... full job details .....
