Summary Of Job: Responsible for repair, preparation and minor overhaul of forklift trucks Position Requirements: Repairing Forklift Trucks Repair of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components Repairing hydraulic valves and rams Repairing final drive and gearbox components Repairing engines and components Servicing Forklift Trucks Responsible for servicing gas, diesel and electric powered forklift trucks Using a check sheet, checking that the brakes are fully functional, and that the lifting equipment and steering are in correct working order Changing the oil and filters as necessary Thorough Examinations pending qualifications Carry out Preventative Maintenance, such as lubricating steering and lifting equipment.
