The position is focused on completing high-quality workshop repairs, supporting the wider engineering team and helping to minimise fleet and customer downtime. Occasional work may also be required on the company''s HGV, van and car fleet. Monday- Friday// 8:00am- 5:00pm Key Responsibilities Service, maintain and repair forklifts, access equipment, telehandlers and other machinery in the workshop. Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs within timeframes and quality requirements. Carry out engineering and fabrication work, including welding where required and within individual competence. Follow all workshop health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working environment. Coordinate parts requirements with the Service Controller for assigned jobs. Keep the Workshop Manager and colleagues informed of progress, delays and additional repair requirements. Support other workshop engineers and contribute to reducing equipment downtime.
