Hours:-Monday to Thursday 7am to 3.30pm, Friday 7am to 1pm. 38 hours per week.-
We are recruiting a skilled-Workshop Engineer-to support ongoing product and site development for a forward-thinking company based in Hull. This is a varied, hands-on role within a business that is continuously developing new products and improving its production processes.
Due to regular innovation and development, the Workshop Engineer-role presents frequent technical challenges that require experience, practical skill, and creative problem-solving. You will play a key part in resolving issues, contributing ideas, and supporting the final assembly of finished products, where precision and attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with product and site development projects
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and IT-related issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of production processes
- Support final assembly of completed products, ensuring high quality standards
- Carry out general site support tasks and occasional errands as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced in hands-on technical or mechanical roles
- Comfortable working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and IT challenges
- A proactive problem-solver with a structured and methodical approach
- Adaptable and enjoys variety in day-to-day work
- Ideally holds a 5T driving licence (or willing to obtain)
- A positive team player who enjoys contributing to a friendly and collaborative working environment
