Workshop Engineer

They are now looking to hire a Workshop Engineer to join their established team in Peterborough. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the maintenance and service of Plant / Lifting equipment, they will also be proficient in completing pre delivery and will be proficient in undertaking both mechanical and electrical work. Workshop Engineer Job Overview Perform pre-delivery inspections, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, company policies, and safety regulationsCommunicate defects or unsafe equipment to the Depot Manager promptlyDiagnose, repair, and address faults to ensure platforms meet company standards.Conduct LOLER inspections following manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.Ensure proper stock control for all parts and consumables.Report potential customer recharges or warranty issues to the Service DepartmentAdhere to the company''s health and safety procedures at all times Workshop Engineer Job Requirements Experience in maintaining Plant Machinery, Forklifts and / or HydraulicsRelevant general maintenance qualification with proven experience in the plant rental sector.Strong background in auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostics/fault finding.Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and perform well under pressure.Excellent interpersonal ..... full job details .....
