Workshop Engineer and Driver

Workshop Engineer and DriverPersonnel Selection is recruiting a permanent practical and dependable Workshop Engineer and Driver for a rapidly expanding company based at its headquarters near Fleet. You will be joining the company at an exciting stage of company growth within the UK. The main purpose of this role is to service and maintain climate control power systems and equipment and ensure they are delivered in a timely fashion to the customer.This varied role combines hands-on workshop engineering with deliveries, collections and customer-site support. The position would suit someone with a natural technical ability who enjoys variety and takes pride in their work. Specific training is offered for the right candidate, but you will need to have a natural technically minded ability. Our client is looking for a person with a can do attitude that would like to learn or advance their skill set and join their existing friendly team. Working hours will be 7am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Salary will be £34k to £35.Skills to be considered for the position: Good practical and mechanical aptitude.Basic electrical knowledge, or a willingness and ability to learn.Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious approach.Clear communication skills and a professional manner with customers.Reliable, self-motivated and comfortable managing varied tasks.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.A full, clean UK driving licence.Flexibility to meet operational and customer ..... full job details .....
