Job title: Workshop CoordinatorLocation: DerbyContract type: Temporary maternity cover with potential to become permanent based on performanceHours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pmAbout the roleWe are currently recruiting for a Workshop Administrator to join a busy Workshop function based in Derby.This Workshop Administrator role will provide high quality administrative support to the day-to-day running of the vehicle workshop. You will act as an important point of contact for visitors, technicians and internal customers, ensuring work is booked in correctly and customers are kept updated on the progress of vehicles.The successful Workshop Administrator will ideally have previous experience working on a service reception desk or within a vehicle workshop environment. You will be comfortable taking and issuing vehicle keys, logging jobs and working with vehicle records and fleet systems.This is initially a temporary maternity cover position, with the potential for the role to become permanent based on performance.Key responsibilities• Receive visitors and provide a professional and helpful service to colleagues and internal customers• Book in both planned and reactive workshop work• Record workshop bookings on the relevant spreadsheets• Create jobs for technicians using the Fleet Management system• Take in vehicle keys and clearly tag them with details of the work required• Manage vehicle keys and workshop parking• Provide courtesy vehicles where appropriate• Keep internal ..... full job details .....
