Workshop Controller

kolt recruitment are looking for a workshop controller for a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Burgess Hill. this is a key role within the bodyshop, responsible for managing workflow, ensuring productivity targets are met and maintaining high standards of repair quality and customer service.

key responsibilities:

• overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop
• managing workflow and allocating jobs to technicians
• ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
• monitoring productivity and meeting KPIs
• liaising with estimators, parts and management teams
• ensuring quality control checks are completedsupporting and motivating the workshop team

requirements:

• previous experience as a workshop controller or senior bodyshop role
• strong knowledge of accident repair processes
• excellent organisation and communication skills
• ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• experience working in a fast-paced environment
• full uk driving licence
