A well-established engineering and manufacturing business in Witney is looking for a practical and reliable Workshop Assistant to join their team.Salary: Up to £30,000 depending on experienceWorking Hours: Monday Thursday 8:00am 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am 1:00pmThis is a varied, hands-on role supporting the day-to-day running of a busy workshop and facility. You ll help keep operations running smoothly by assisting with preparation work, maintaining the workspace, and supporting the team with general tasks across the site.As a Workshop Assistant, your responsibilities will include: Keeping the workshop and loading areas clean, organised and safeAssisting with packing into export crates and preparing products for shipmentCarrying out general maintenance and handyman tasks across the facilityCompleting local deliveries and collections when requiredHelping maintain external areas, including the yard and car parkSupporting workshop preparation of components for manufacture What We re Looking For: A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to help wherever neededExperience using hand tools and general workshop equipmentGood attention to detail and a proactive attitudeFull, clean UK driving licence The following would be beneficial but not essential: Previous experience using a lathe or machining equipmentForklift licence This role would suit someone with practical, hands-on experience, ideally within a workshop, engineering, or manufacturing environment, who enjoys a varied role. ..... full job details .....
