Workshop Assistant

The Role: We re recruiting for a hands-on Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly engineering company based in Earith, Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being part of a team, and supporting skilled engineers in a well-equipped workshop environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The company has a strong reputation in the industry and produces high-quality products for a variety of sectors. Main Responsibilities: Assisting engineers with daily tasks in the workshop Hanging finished products on hooks ready for finishing Preparing components for the spray shop General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy work area Supporting other workshop tasks as required Skills/Experience: Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is an advantage Physically fit and able to handle manual work Willingness to learn and follow instructions Good attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player Hourly Rate and Working Hours: £25,396 per annum Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 17:00, Friday: 08:00 to 14:00 ..... full job details .....
