Job Title: Workshop and Field Service EngineerLocation: Based in HadlowSalary: £40,000 per annum depending on experienceJob Type: Permanent, Full timeHours / Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. Flexibility is required to work additional hours when needed. Our clients include leading retail, manufacturing, warehouse and distribution businesses together with local authorities, hospitals, shopping centres, garden centres and recyclers.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct installation, maintenance and repair of compactors, balers and related machinery at customer sites.Conduct repair and testing of compactors, balers and related machinery in the workshop.Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults and implement effective solutions.Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.Collaborate with customers to provide technical guidance, operational training, and support.Maintain accurate service reports including parts used, repairs completed, and recommendations.Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot equipment failures in a timely manner.Work closely with the Technical Manager to innovate and improve service procedures and equipment ..... full job details .....
