As a Works Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day yard, processing, and materials handling operations to keep the production plan on track
- Extracting and manipulating data from StruMIS and Excel to produce accurate performance and cost reports
- Managing time and attendance records and allocating hours correctly across work activities
- Logging the cost and time impact of E-forms, NCRs, variations, and drawing revisions for commercial recovery
- Supervising the flow of materials into the factory and coordinating sub-contract suppliers and fabricators
- Writing and delivering toolbox talks and ensuring H&S documentation is completed and uploaded to SharePoint
As a Works Manager, your experience will include:
- A background in a production or fabrication environment, ideally from the shop floor
- Strong IT skills including MS Office, Excel, and ideally StruMIS or similar production management software
- Experience managing teams and driving efficient workflows against a production plan
- The ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise across departments
- IOSH or equivalent Health and Safety qualification (desirable)
