Recruit4staff are representing a well-established engineering manufacturing business in their search for a Works Manager to work in FlintJob Details: Pay: up to £60,000 per annum + company car + bonus schemeHours of Work: 40 hours per week (08 30)Duration: PermanentBenefits: 30 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays), company car, bonus scheme, pension Job Role: As a Works Manager, you will lead all workshop operations, health and safety, and quality management activities. The Works Manager will maintain a visible presence within the workshop, overseeing production flow, managing staff performance, and ensuring efficiency targets are achieved. You will take responsibility for maintaining and communicating HandS policies, reviewing risk assessments and COSHH documentation, delivering toolbox talks, and ensuring statutory inspections are up to date. The Works Manager will also oversee daily workshop activity, mentor apprentices, conduct interviews and trade tests, manage rostering to meet production needs, and ensure workshop facilities and equipment are maintained to a high standard. In addition, you will manage quality assurance processes, compile end-of-project quality packs, ensure finished goods meet required standards, and oversee welding certifications and non-conformance corrective actions.
