Manufacturing high-quality engineered products through a combination of wood machining, electronics, assembly and finishing processes, they have built an outstanding reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Works Manager to lead all production operations and play a key role in the future development of the business. The Role Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the Works Manager will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of manufacturing operations across two production sites. Leading a team of approximately 100 Engineers, Technicians and Production personnel, you will ensure production targets, quality standards and customer delivery requirements are consistently achieved whilst continuing to develop both the business and its people. This is a highly visible senior leadership position where you will work in close partnership with the Managing Director and other departmental leaders. You will be expected to provide strategic input whilst remaining hands-on enough to support the shop floor whenever the business demands it.
