Your new company A leading UKinfrastructure services provider is delivering major improvements to a keystrategic transport structure in Scotland. With a strong track record inhighways, civil engineering, and asset management, the organisation isrecognised for delivering complex refurbishment projects that enhance networkresilience while minimising disruption to road users. Your new role This position will befor 3 months+ to cover long term sick leave and you will work as a WorksManager. You will take full responsibility for the safe, efficient, andhigh-quality delivery of operational works on a major live infrastructureproject. Reporting to the Site Agent, you will oversee daily constructionactivities, managing site teams, subcontractors, and resources to ensureprogramme milestones are achieved. Key responsibilities include: Leading site operations, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality expectationsManaging and coordinating subcontractors, direct labour, and plant resourcesDriving a strong health, safety, and environmental culture, ensuring full compliance with HSQE standardsReviewing and implementing method statements, risk assessments, and permits to workMonitoring progress and reporting on performance, identifying and mitigating risksLiaising closely with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to maintain strong working relationshipsSupporting the commercial team through accurate reporting of progress, variations, and resource ..... full job details .....
