Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an experienced Working Foreman / Supervisor to join their busy Glasgow-based team.This is an excellent opportunity for a time-served Fabricator/Welder with proven leadership experience to take on a key hands-on role within a fast-paced marine engineering environment supporting vessel repair, refit and shipbuilding projects.As a Working Foreman / Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day workshop and site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and workmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesHands-on fabrication, welding and assembly workLeading and supervising a skilled workshop teamCoordinating daily workloads and allocating resourcesInterpreting engineering and technical drawingsSupporting vessel repair, refit and shipbuilding projectsEnsuring quality standards and workmanship requirements are metPromoting a strong health and safety cultureSupporting on-site work on vessels, quaysides and dry docks when requiredYou will play a key role in maintaining productivity, quality and safety standards while contributing to the successful delivery of marine engineering projects.Essential RequirementsTime-served Fabricator/Welder (SVQ Level 3 or equivalent)Strong fabrication and welding experienceProven supervisory, team-leading or foreman experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsExperience within workshop and site-based fabrication ..... full job details .....
