The initial works are involving the installation of Eel screens as part of a Southern Water programme of works. This role will suit a candidate that is happy lead a small gang of 2-3 operatives with day to day civils work including ground preparation and concrete packages, installing new stairways and civils infrastructure to support the required M & E controls. You will be required to oversee a small gang and carry out some aspects of the work too. A background in civil engineering or mechanical engineering would be considered for the role. Duties will include ; On Site Supervision of work force Daily briefings, tool box talks and safety briefings Co ordination of plant and materials- Carrying out manual tasks as required- To be considered applicants must have SSSTS or SMSTS, CSCS and/or CPCS plant tickets, EUSR clean water also required but can be arranged.
