The successful candidate will supervise operatives and subcontractors while remaining hands-on where required, ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to a high standard within an occupied school environment. Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day running of a school refurbishment project. Supervise site operatives, subcontractors and deliveries. Carry out hands-on works where appropriate to support the programme. Coordinate works including roofing, brickwork, damp proofing, metal staircases, fire door repairs and replacements, and general building maintenance. Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications. Maintain site records including daily diaries, labour returns and progress reports. Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation. Liaise with the Contracts Manager, client representatives and school staff to minimise disruption.
