Workday Technical Director Integration, Extend and AI | Design Authority Location: UK, remote-first. Client travel across UK and EMEA as programmes require. Type: Permanent Package: £120k plus bonus, plus equity or profit share Start: Flexible. We will wait for the right person. Why this role exists Most Workday partners sell delivery capacity. We are building a platform business on top of Workday, and the difference between those two things is architecture. We need one person who owns the technical direction of everything we build: the integration patterns, the Extend estate, the orchestration layer, and the AI proposition that sits across all of it. Not a reviewer of other people''s designs. The design authority. Final say. This is a role for someone who has already run global Workday delivery at scale, has done the governance frameworks and the steering committees and the programme recoveries, and has reached the point where the constraint on their impact is the organisation around them rather than the problem in front of them. What you will own Architecture and design authorityOwn the reference architecture for Workday integration, Extend and orchestration across every client engagementSet and govern API strategy, event-driven design patterns and reusable acceleratorsHold final technical sign-off on solution designs, integration design documents and data mapping specificationsChair the design review board.
