Workday Payroll Specialist

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Workday Certified Payroll Specialist with strong expertise in UK Payroll to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Workday super-user who can not only manage payroll operations but also lead and support end-to-end payroll implementations. In addition to payroll expertise, knowledge of Time Tracking (TT) and Absence Management within Workday will be a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support Workday Payroll implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, parallel runs, and go-live activities. Collaborate with business stakeholders, HR, and Finance teams to analyze requirements and provide Workday Payroll solutions. Troubleshoot payroll-related issues, provide functional support, and ensure seamless payroll cycles. Partner with technical teams to design, configure, and enhance Workday Payroll integrations with third-party systems (eg, benefits, tax authorities, finance systems). Conduct end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to ensure effective use of Workday Payroll. Maintain compliance with UK payroll legislation and ensure systems are updated for any statutory changes. Contribute to the optimization of Time Tracking and Absence Management processes where applicable.
