Role/Job title: Workday Data Migration Consultant Work Location: UK - Reading or Dublin Mode of working: Hybrid / 3 Days Required to WFO Duration of assignment: 12 months Our client, an international fast-fashion and lifestyle retailer is seeking an experienced Workday Data Migration Consultant to support a strategic customer engagement involving the migration of employee and payroll-related data from Workday to a new payroll platform. The ideal candidates will possess strong functional knowledge of Workday processes along with hands-on experience in data migration, data validation, and data transformation activities. This is an urgent requirement supporting a time-sensitive customer project, and the selected resources will play a key role in ensuring a seamless transition with minimal business disruption. Your responsibilities: Analyze and understand existing Workday data structures and business processes. Lead and support end-to-end data migration activities from Workday to a new payroll platform. Gather, extract, transform, cleanse, validate, and reconcile data throughout the migration lifecycle. Collaborate with business stakeholders, payroll teams, and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and completeness. Develop data mapping documents and migration strategies. Identify and resolve data quality issues and migration-related risks. Perform migration testing, validation, and post-migration support activities.
