Wood Machinist We Are Zenith are working with a well-established manufacturing company who are looking for an experienced Machinist with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience. Key Responsibilities: Setting up and operating manual machines to produce precision-engineered components Working from detailed technical drawings and specifications Measuring, inspecting, and ensuring components meet exact tolerances Adjusting machine settings and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency Carrying out basic machine maintenance and ensuring equipment is kept in good working order Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment Collaborating with colleagues to meet production deadlines and quality standards Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Machinist Strong understanding of machining processes, materials, and tooling Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Competent using measuring equipment High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset Ability to work independently and as part of a team Competent using all types of timber, hardwood, softwood, sheet and melamine. Working Hours: Monday Friday, 08 30. Overtime, including weekends and night shifts, may be required depending on workload and project deadlines.
