Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including CNC routers, planers, saws, moulders, and spindle moulders.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting lists.
• Select, prepare, and machine timber to precise specifications.
• Deliver work to the highest standards of accuracy and finish.
• Carry out routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Keep the workshop clean, safe, and well-organised.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Wood Machinist (or similar role).
• Strong knowledge of timber types and machining techniques.
• Confident in reading technical drawings and using measuring tools.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Solid understanding of health and safety standards.
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
