About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Wood Assembler to join a busy production environment. The role involves assembling high-quality timber fire doors that meet strict safety and industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with woodworking, carpentry, or manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble fire door components including frames, cores, and facings
• Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely
• Measure, cut, and prepare timber materials to specification
• Fit hardware such as hinges, seals, and glazing systems
• Carry out quality checks to ensure compliance with fire safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Report any defects or production issues

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in woodworking, carpentry, or a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Awareness of health and safety practices
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
