Are you an experienced Womenswear Designer with a passion for tailoring and outerwear? Do you have an eye for sophisticated styling, premium fabrics and beautifully crafted garments? Our client is looking for a talented Tailoring and Outerwear Designer to join one of their established womenswear brands, bringing a fresh and contemporary approach to heritage-inspired collections. You will be able to make your mark within a respected design team, working across structured tailoring, smart coordinates and outerwear while helping shape the future direction of the brand. Although this is initially a 12-month fixed-term contract, the business has ambitious growth plans, offering genuine potential for the role to be extended. The Role: As Tailoring and Outerwear Designer, you will: Develop seasonal collections across tailoring, smart coordinates and outerwear that reflect the brand''s identity while introducing fresh, contemporary ideas. Research emerging trends through inspirational shopping and overseas research trips, sourcing fabrics and identifying key styling directions. Produce detailed CADs, technical packs and design presentations, responding quickly to design briefs within a fast-paced environment. Collaborate daily with Buyers, Merchandisers, Technologists and manufacturing partners to ensure collections are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
