Based 1 x York Women s Centre and 1 x Scarborough Women s Centre Are you a compassionate, resilient and proactive individual with experience of supporting women facing multiple and complex disadvantages? Do you have the confidence to deliver trauma-informed, person-centred support in both community and outreach settings? If so, St Giles Trust is looking for a dedicated Women s Alliance Caseworker to join our new Women s Alliance Service York and North Yorkshire, delivering vital outreach support across some of the most rural communities in the county. Due to the nature of the service, the role is only open to female applicants and the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1, Paragraph 1 applies to this post. About the Service The Women s Alliance Service is a new multi-agency service which provides holistic, trauma-informed and gender-responsive support to women and girls across York and North Yorkshire, including those facing barriers to engagement such as those living in the most rural communities and those belonging to minority groups.
