Your new company A leading professional regulatory organisation is seeking a Witness Statement Officer to join its Legal Team in Manchester.This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal, investigator, caseworker or regulatory professional with experience of taking witness statements and gathering evidence to join a supportive and purpose-driven organisation. You''ll play a key role in helping progress complex fitness to practise investigations, ensuring witness evidence is obtained and documented to the highest standard.This role is initially offered on a 3-month contract.Your new role As a Witness Statement Officer, you will be responsible for:Analysing case files and key documentation to identify evidential requirementsPreparing witness interview plansConducting witness interviews Drafting high-quality witness statements in accordance with legal and procedural requirementsSupporting lawyers and investigators on witness-related mattersExplaining legal processes clearly and sensitively to witnesses and complainantsWorking within a statutory and regulatory frameworkProviding an excellent level of customer service and witness care throughout the investigation processWhat you''ll need to succeed Previous experience drafting witness statements and gathering evidenceStrong analytical skills and the ability to review complex informationExcellent written communication and attention to detailExperience interviewing witnesses or conducting investigative conversationsThe ability to ..... full job details .....
