Wiring TechnicianLocation: SouthamSalary: £30,000 - £31,000 per annumHours: Full Time PermanentAre you an experienced Wiring Technician or Panel Wirer looking for a new opportunity with a well-established engineering company?We are looking for a hands-on individual with a panel wiring or electrical assembly background who is keen to develop their skills. Full product training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to join a growing business with long-term career prospects.The RoleAs a Wiring Technician, you will be responsible for building, wiring and testing a range of electrical, electronic and hydraulic assemblies to engineering drawings and quality standards.Your duties will include:Building and wiring electrical assemblies and valve packs. Cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering and terminating wires and cables. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams. Fault finding using test equipment such as Fluke meters. Wiring PCB boards and carrying out soldering where required. Mechanical assembly work using hand tools. Working from both electrical and, ideally, mechanical drawings. Completing quality documentation and production records. Maintaining high standards of workmanship and housekeeping. Supporting the wider production team with assembly and warehouse duties when required.
