Wiring TechnicianLocation: PooleContract Length: 6 Months (extension possible) Pay Rate: £14.47 per hourHours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pmThe OpportunityWe are currently recruiting for an Wiring Technician to join a busy manufacturing and engineering team on a 6-month contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on technician with experience in electronics assembly, wiring, testing, and prototype builds to work on innovative products within a technical manufacturing environment.The successful candidate will support the manufacture, testing, repair, inspection, and development of electronic equipment while ensuring all work is completed to the required quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture, test, repair, and inspect electronic equipment to relevant specifications and standards.Manage assigned batches of products through manufacture, test, and repair processes.Record and capture quality data accurately.Carry out testing procedures using appropriate electronic test equipment.Maintain detailed records of test results and inspections.Assist with the creation and modification of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly documentation.Work from prototype information to build new products and equipment.Identify and report improvements to assembly processes and documentation.Prepare completed equipment for dispatch.Read and interpret schematic drawings and wiring diagrams.Mechanically build and wire prototype projects, often from limited ..... full job details .....
