As a Wiring Harness Technician, you will be responsible for the build and testing of high and low-voltage harnesses, supporting the design and development of electrical systems.
Your responsibilities as a Wiring Harness Technician:
- Manufacture complex wiring harnesses for motorsport and automotive applications.
- Assemble low and high-voltage enclosures and electrical systems.
- Perform end-of-line testing including continuity, isolation, and resistance checks.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and manufacturing drawings.
- Support in-house engineering and development projects as required.
- Maintain high levels of dimensional accuracy and repeatability in builds.
Your current experience which will help you as a Wiring Harness Technician:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in wiring harness manufacture for automotive, motorsport, or aerospace.
- Proficient in wire wrapping/twisting and familiar with System 25 and moulded parts.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed wiring schematics and harness drawings.
- Knowledge of connector systems, sleeving, and automotive/motorsport wiring standards.
- Experience with service loops and end-of-line testing systems (e.g. Cirris) is desirable.
