NG Authorised Electrician / Wireman

Rate: -32.00 per hour

We are currently seeking an experienced NG Authorised Electrician/Wireman to join our team working on high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects.

• Carrying out electrical fitting activities on high-voltage switchgear, transformers, and associated equipment.
• Installation of control and protection equipment.
• Installation and testing of earthing systems.
• Installation of outdoor substation equipment, including busbars, disconnectors, and switchgear.
• Maintenance of high-voltage electrical equipment.
• Fault finding on both low-voltage and high-voltage systems.
• Receiving and working from high-voltage documentation and permits.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards and procedures.

• NG Authorised Person certification.
• Proven experience working on high-voltage electrical installations and maintenance.
• Manual Handling certification.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and industry regulations.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
