Wintel EngineerLength: Until May 2027Rate: 725 per day via umbrellaLocation: Corsham (3 days per week onsite) CANDIDATES MUST HOLD ACTIVE SC CLERANCE OR BE ELIGIBLE TO UNDERGO SC CLEARANCE Overview The WINTEL Engineer will deliver hands-on engineering support to the OpNET programme, designing, building, and maintaining Windows-based enterprise infrastructure platforms.The role focuses on Microsoft server technologies and enterprise services within highly virtualised environments, supporting full lifecycle delivery from installation and configuration through to integration, testing, and operational support within secure or regulated environments.Main Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems across enterprise environments.Deploy and support Microsoft enterprise services including Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange, SQL, Skype, WSUS, PKI, and supporting applications.Administer and support Windows environments within virtualised infrastructure platforms.Perform system configuration, patching, backup, and restore operations to maintain platform availability.Support system integration, troubleshooting, and resolution of technical issues across infrastructure services.Produce and review technical artefacts including design documentation, build guides, and operational procedures.Support wider system testing, integration, and commissioning activities.Work with Service Management functions to ..... full job details .....
