      <description>Location: London | Salary: &amp;pound;1/annum | Type: Permanent | We are seeking an experienced  Microsoft Windows Engineer  to design, implement, support, and maintain enterprise Windows infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for Windows Server administration, Active Directory services, virtualization platforms, automation, security compliance, and infrastructure modernization projects while ensuring high availability and operational excellence.   Key Responsibilities     Manage and support enterprise Windows Server environments (Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022 and later).   Build, configure, maintain, and decommission physical and virtual servers.   Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related Microsoft technologies.   Perform system patching, upgrades, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.   Support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.   Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.   Troubleshoot infrastructure incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
